Your data, plainly explained

PR Chaser ("we", "us") is made by Always Blue Software. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the PR Chaser app and website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect the information you'd expect from a running and workout tracking app:

Account information — your email address, display name, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).
Activity data — workouts, runs, and strength sessions you log or sync, including distance, pace, duration, heart rate, and GPS routes.
Health data — if you connect Apple Health or Health Connect, we read workout and heart-rate data you've authorized us to access, to bring it into PR Chaser. This is currently read-only: PR Chaser does not write data back to Apple Health or Health Connect.
Device information — a push-notification token (if you enable notifications), your timezone, and your unit preferences (km/mi, kg/lbs).
Usage information — basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the service, plus session replay (see-what-you-saw screen recordings and network activity) used to diagnose bugs and crashes. Passwords and auth tokens are never captured.

How we use your information

To provide the core functionality of the app — logging, tracking, and displaying your training data.
To send you account-related emails (password resets, email verification) and, if you opt in, workout reminders and push notifications.
To maintain the security and reliability of the service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your health or fitness data for advertising. PR Chaser does not currently show ads.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to operate PR Chaser:

Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosts our database and servers, and sends transactional email (password resets, verification) on our behalf.
Apple HealthKit / Android Health Connect — only if you explicitly connect them, to sync your workout history.
Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivers push notifications, if you enable them.
LogRocket — session replay and error diagnostics, used to reproduce and fix bugs.

None of these providers are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

Your choices

You can edit or delete individual activities, workouts, and plans at any time from within the app.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. This is immediate and cannot be undone.
You can revoke Apple Health / Health Connect access at any time from your device's system settings.
You can turn off push notifications at any time.

Data security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text. Access tokens are short-lived; refresh tokens are stored in an httpOnly, secure cookie and rotated on use.

Children's privacy

PR Chaser is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
